West Side turns 100 in March 2011! Throughout this year, we have highlighted our heritage and history through the Generations of Faithfulness campaign.

Please join us for our Centennial Celebration on
March 27, 2011.

Psalm 100. A psalm for giving thanks. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Centennial Courtyard

In commemoration of this milestone, our congregation has expressed a desire to give a gift to future generations. We want to complete existing plans to include a garden and gathering place between the library and chapel. This will be a place for prayer, gatherings, wedding receptions and barbeques that everyone will enjoy. As the trees in front of the sanctuary symbolize our centennial celebration, it is fitting to employ the idea of a garden courtyard to improve the aesthetics of the outside of the building and to commemorate for future generations a gift celebrating this important event in the life of this congregation.
