  • ESSENTIALS OF MARRIAGE
    See your marriage through God’s eyes! This Focus on the Family video series is hosted by popular counselor and author Dr. Greg Smalley, and features a number of top marriage mentors such as John Trent, Les and Leslie Parrott, Gary and Barb Rosberg, Juli Slatterly, Archibald Hart, Gary Thomas and others.   • GOD AND SCIENCE
    Utilizing videos by Reasons to Believe and astrophysicist Hugh Ross, this class will explore whether the latest scientific evidence supports the Christian worldview and the Bible as God’s revelation to humanity. Stephen Hawking in a “Brief History of Time” questioned the need for all the other galaxies in the universe, and the New Atheists question how a personal loving God could exist when the universe is so messed up and there is so much pain and suffering.   • WHY PRESBYTERIAN?
    More so than ever people are asking the question “Why Presbyterian?”, especially evangelicals within the PCUSA like us at West Side. So over the six Sundays from January 8 to February 12 we will explore the answers to this question. We will seek to understand the history, theology, worship, mission and polity of the Presbyterian Church USA from its humble beginnings in Switzerland, Scotland, England, and the colonies of what became the USA to its global presence today.
