Scott is responsible for all of West Side’s facilities, including maintenance of the church building, grounds, and vehicles. Working behind the scenes, he sets up rooms for weekly and special events and ensures everything is clean and in working order, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry needs. Scott oversees West Side’s custodians, who assist him with the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. He has served in this capacity at West Side full-time since January 2010. Scott grew up at West Side, is a third generation West Seattle High graduate, has worked with the youth program, served as a Deacon and Deacon Moderator, and has played on both of West Side’s church softball teams. Scott is married to Elizabeth (Platt) and they have a young son, Mason, and dog, Leila.
