November 2006 Plumbing has been completed so that we can begin using the main floor kitchen again. Areas that were disturbed for foundation and footing work on the lower level are now able to be re-framed. Elevator footings and framing for the concrete walls is in process. Framing, plumbing and electrical work continues in all areas. |

October 2006 During October, excavation for the new elevator and concrete pouring for major interior footings were completed. Other work included demolition, inspections, electrical wiring, and installing heating and air conditioning equipment. |

September 2006 As construction moved ahead in the front hall area, Sunday services were relocated to Howell Auditorium. The stair removal (to upper and lower floors) was completed; temporary stairs to upper level were installed. Framing continued on main floor, the ceiling was opened up between the main and second floor, large (1200 lbs) beams were installed and brick cleaning continued. |

August 30, 2006 The main entry is now closed as work progresses on the main and 2nd floors. Wiring is progressing and the upper floor is being reinforced. |
