Thanksgiving Donations Requested

Thanksgiving horn - sharing with those in needThe fall colors are here and the holidays are just around the corner. Thanksgiving Day is November 27th this year and once again the West Side Deacons are asking you to demonstrate your thanks for God’s many blessings by sharing with those in need. Beginning Sunday, November 2nd there will be collection boxes located in the narthex and the Sunday School areas for non-perishable items.

Our holiday drive here at West Side is truly an extension of our Connections - to each other and our community. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

The Deacons will deliver food baskets to those in our congregation and community with special needs a day or two before the Thanksgiving holiday. Any additional food donations will be delivered to the West Seattle Food Bank.

You can also make a financial donation in the offering plates during church services that will be used to purchase fresh meat, pies and milk. Please make a note “Thanksgiving Baskets” on your check or donation envelope.
