Debbie and Tom Wood

Debbie and Tom both grew up at West Side. They serve iTEE Global, a ministry which implements indigenous multiplying discipleship movements in Myanmar, Cuba, Guatemala, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya and Zambia. They train master trainers who are committed to training others. They do this training in-person and online at iTEE University. They work from home offices in Washougal, WA and travel overseas frequently for teaching and training.  

In July they traveled to Zambia for an IDEA training workshop (Interactive Discipleship Education Approach). They led a team of 9 facilitators from several countries training over 50 pastors and church leaders. They are also expanding this IDEA training for churches in the US.  

Tom is on the Leadership Team and serves as the Personnel Director, recruiting new staff and ministering to existing staff. He is working with the India Director to get print versions of iTEE Global’s core curriculum completed and in the hands of nationals.  

Debbie is our miracle missionary, having survived several serious bouts with cancer, numerous surgeries, and lengthy chemo treatments. We have prayed for her healing with each new crisis over the last few years and God has miraculously answered our prayers. She wrote a comprehensive Christian Marriage course which has been widely used. She is now writing a course on discipling children, called “Raising Disciples.”  

In January Debbie joined a new ministry, Paraclete, created for senior missionaries with broad skills which can benefit more than one agency. It allows her to continue to serve iTEE Global as well as the needs of other national missions and churches abroad.
